Arch to flue help

Erik, have you looked at some build pictures? If I understand you right, most builders make a transition from the round vent arches to a flat to attach the flue. Many different ways to do this, but most involve custom cutting of bricks, unless you are making a cast part. I linked to the part of my build where I started to make the round part flat

I'm looking for advice on how to attach stack flue to arched oven opening. Most flues are flat, do I need a specially machined part or are there other ways to attach.
