posting thumbnails

could someone tell me how to post thumbnails? i keep posting these giant photos of my work in progress, and even though they are hosted by someone else, i feel like they are taking up so much space in the thread. does it have to be a thumbnail on the host site?

When posting you can add files using the "manage attachments" button under additonal options field below the text box. Depending on the type of picture file you may have to edit it for size.

I like your big pictures.
