    Hi , I,m new to this and have been reading and watching lots of videos on how to build my pizza oven. I am getting my foundation started and don,t have all the details on what size oven I need to make good pizzas, I think most of my pies will be 12 to 14 inch but I may make some bigger. I am trying to figure out how to save money on materials, firebrick and Hi temp mortar are not carried at our home improvement stores but I have found it for $1.50 per brick at some masonry supply stores. I have a lot of rocks on my property, can I use rock for the walls, will they hold up to the heat?

    First of all welcome. Second, download the "free" pompelli plans from Forno Bravo as a baseline, and third. Check out Lubrou "treasure archives" in the newbie section for some of the best builds on the forum.
