I'm working on it Nokka. There's a subdivision happening soon near Wolumla (closer to the coast and a much better pub than Candelo), I'm keeping my eye on.

Ever go to the local races?

Welcome jazzfan.........yeah there are a few aussies on here which is good to get that local perspective when looking for gear.

having said that there you also get great input from people in other parts of the globe - so yeah its great to trade ideas which gives it a fresh approach

    G'day from Candelo, Australia

Hi all, been having a bit of a look around, and I whole - heartedly agree that this really is a great forum.

Only renting at the moment, (moved down here to escape the hustle and traffic of Sydney), but looking for a small acreage in the area. Either a block of dirt to start from scratch, or an established house - if I can find one that fits the bill.

If I do get a block of dirt, an oven and bbq (and a wood burning rocket stove-like wok burner) will be high on the list of priorities - how else am I going to feed those working bees?

Oh and BTW - Candelo, NSW is (apparently) named after Candelo in Italy so that's pretty appropriate I think!

    Regards
Working...
