Julie, you have come to the right place to start. In addition to getting the plans Russell talked about above I'd recommend finding a few builds here that look like what you want to build and copying as much as you can. I built a corner oven and bookmarked the builds I wanted to emulate. Everything you need to know has probably already been posted if you are willing to hunt for it and there is an active community here to answer questions you might have

Hi!
I'm Julie Brown from NSW Australia. I've just gotten my first home and planning on renovating the backyard to include an oven.

I'm thinking of building a brick oven and a barbecue oven right next to it (we tend to do pizza nights and barbecue nights quite a lot).

Any advice for someone starting new?
