Re: Twigs & Branches
I use mostly windfalls. They are pretty well dry, when I gather them. They work great! after a few more day of drying in the shed. But, I have bound some green ones with sissal rope (hay string) using a truckers hitch to bind them down. Several months later, they make a great log to throw on the fire .Last edited by Gulf; 10-18-2014, 06:03 PM.

I do the same, pre-heat the branches so they instantly catch fire.

Twigs & Branches
During my last pizza party (fed up to 34 people) i threw in twigs and small branches into the coals (one side of the oven) while cooking pizza, and this provide a beautiful large rolling fire that circulated over the pizza/floor. I'm sure some of you may already do this, but if you have not give it a shot, it works great, the twigs instantly catch fire and provides a nice flame.Tags: None
