Thanks Mark.....I wish I can start cooking pizza by the end of the month. But I still have so much more cleaning up of our demolished deck to do in our back yard. There's so much debris back there I'm renting a 30 or a 40 yard dumpster.
I wish I can devote 100% of my free time to the oven, but at the same time I've gotta keep my wife happy (with the back yard work)...

            Stand is done!

I uncovered and took the supports and forms off the stand this morning. I will spend the next couple of days picking up materials locally.
A local dealer sells 24"x36"x3" insulating boards so I'll probably go with that instead of 5" of vermiculite/portland I had originally planned.

                Thanks guys!

I just placed a will call order for some insulating bricks, ceramic boards, and blanket for pick-up tomorrow.

                  Fx,
Nice looking stand, very cool! Onto the fun part: the floor, dome and arches. Enjoy!

                    Thanks again!

I cut and temporarily placed the 3" boards today. There's a tiny amount of gap filling and leveling using a sand/fireclay mixture I must still do.

I will start a new oven build thread once I start laying the floor.
