I had difficulties finding the right lime where I am as well (Japan). In the end, I found some imported hydraulic lime from Portugal - everything else here was either fertilizer lime (agriculture), or 'food additive'. Very strange. Good to see you went through testing the material and found the right stuff. Now, any progress photos of your oven?

I lived in Thailand also for several years, never got the idea to build a WFO there, but firebricks etc should be easy to find and not too expensive I imagine...

      Cheers,

Hi Yokosuka, It was not easy to find but I found as "Industrial Lime" at a chemical supplier in Thailand. I have some connections when it comes to chemical suppliers because I am buying this for my work. You might want to look next time at "chemical school suppliers".
