Good to hear you are pulling in the troops. Comment about eyelet size makes sense..but I have not experienced a problem so far. Weather in Vt is changing as well...winter will not be far off !

A trick I learned in the hot sweaty summers in California was that the nastyness of handling spun glass products could be mitigated by liberally applying talc powder to exposed skin.

Certainly it's wise to do your best to cover the skin; however, something about the talc supposedly closes your pores to the glass fibers. I have used the trick extensively for crawling around in attics with amazing success. If it's cool enough, this may not be helpful, but for those in warm weather while applying their insulation I wholeheartedly recommend it.
