  • Longevity of a hombrew cast oven.

Very soon I'll be starting my build, 99% made my mind up to cast a homebrew over sand.
I don't know if this has been asked before, but how long are they expected to last, or in other words has anyone built one that's failed after a reasonable period of time?

Built mine 7 years ago and still going strong! Shows no sign of deterioration.

Thanks Benny8, did you use the standard mix and did you re-inforce the dome in any way?
