I did a diy steel WFO and I use 3.5” Rockwool insulation from Home Depot between the domes. Works great.

Portable Steel Oven
Hi all,
I'm planning on making a portable steel WFO. I'm thinking barrel shaped is probably the way to go. I'm planning on using 10 gauge mild steel for pretty much everything, doing a dual layer design with ceramic fiber insulation between the two layers, but I really don't know much about oven design and couldn't find anything using the search function, so any links to resources or ideas in general would be really helpful.
