Easiest Entry Transition Ever?

I haven't been logging this build here, but I though I group full of people who have built the Pompeii style transition would be appreciative of this. Obviously my method is very different. Hopefully you can make out what is going on, if not I've got more pictures of every step of the way that make it more clear.

There will be a flue, just not yet. The vent transition and it's support will be welded stainless steel installed at a later point in the build.
