The Duratech chimney does not get very hot on the outside I am not sure if the stucco should touch the chimney.

Check the Forno Brovo youtubes of their ovens being built it may help you decide how to proceed.

You could look at Duratech roof flashing as a transition.

Need some help!

Finishing up my oven, igloo design. Going with the Duratech chimney. Need to know how to handle the stucco where it meets the chimney. More specifically how to keep the weather out (rain, snow).
