Tony, great looking build so far!

It's nice to see so many Florida builders.

        Good luck with your build.

Re: Tony's Florida 42" Round Forno

          Hey everybody,

It was a good weekend to work on the oven. Unfortunately my modem is down and I can't load photos. My phone is my only Internet and it will not load either. I did manage to get my inner arch up. Boy was it a
challenge. Not the most symmetrical. But not bad. The outer arch should look sharper now that I have one completed. I did manage to also tie in my first course over the arch. What a sense of accomplishment. There were some nervous moments of " how do I get out of this jam".

Bob i like like the detailed thought you've put in. Can't wait to see more photos. I going to see if I can find the 8" duravent locally.

Larry, I was thinking you were done. What stage you at? I need some photos. What are you doing with your chimney?
          Cheers!

Re: Tony's Florida 42" Round Forno

Finally closed up the dome. Not the prettiest, kind of got impatient at the end. Especially when it's 90 plus degrees outside .
Now onto the front arch and chimney.
            Cheers!

Re: Tony's Florida 42" Round Forno

I'm with fxpose Tony, the dome looks great! Very nice keystones and the interior looks top-notch.

I just checked our your picasaweb album and your whole build is done well. The front arch should be relatively easy now and I'm sure you'll discover a good way to do the vent transition (which was the toughest part for me). There have been so many great ovens built the last couple of years that there's bound to be pics that can help anyone.

Keep up the good work, you're so close...,

Thanks guys for the kind words.
I checked the Forno Bravo store for 2 rolls of Insulation Blanket and the delivery charge was over $100.00. Can this be right?
                  Cheers!

                    Tony,

The shipping prices quoted online are notoriously wrong. They have been for some time. (James, perhaps you could look into this again). You need to call the FB store to get accurate pricing.
