A one day tour to Awaji Island.The first pic is from a map of this island, then
the "Tako Ferry" (tako means octopus") which departs from the port of Akashi.
On the way a pic of the longest suspension bridge in the world ,the" Akashi
Kaikyo Bridge". Once there our first stop is at a fig orchard, all the figs you can eat in 30 minutes. Then comes lunch at buffet style sushi restaurant,
the rest of the day we spent sightseeing and shopping ,returning to Kobe
via the bridge above mentioned. Day tours are very popular costing anywhere
from $30.00 to a $ 100.00 U.S. dollars depending on the location you would like to visit ,all you can eat sushi, steak, melons , grapes, etc tours attract
a large number of retired people,which have the time and money.
