Hello all,
I have a a couple of questions:
About the insulating hearth: I have some extra insulating brick (very light and porous) and I was thinking of adding a layer of it as part of my hearth but covered with about an inch of the insulating concrete mix, is that okay?
About the cooking surface: Is it okay to make my cooking surface with "old stone", I think that is what it is called, this material was used to make a roof of a kiln. Would this be okay?
