  • Choosing a direction!

Hey there everyone. First of all THANKS!! for all I have learned without even making my first post.
I am planning a mobile oven. I want to build on a base that can be moved on and off my trailer.
My trailer is a 6.5x12 with a single torsion axle.
So far I have considered building a oven similar to the ovens built by Allen Scott in his workshops. I like the idea of the rebar supporting the base of the oven on the timbers. This seems to be the easiest way I have seen for a oven you can move, but I am all new to this so I am looking for your advice!!
The other option I am considering is to buy a modular.
I guess my final decision will be based on final cost of each and whatever direction you guys can give me. I know I can build a oven much cheaper than buying one but I am one of those people that look down the road, so if a modular is going to hold up twice as long I am willing to spend the $$.
I have also considered casting a refractory oven.
So I guess my questions are about cost, weight and durability?
We plan on catering, farmers markets and any other side road show!!
