Hi, my name is frank and i'm about to embark on an oven building adventure. So far i've got a sturdy little trailer to put it on, and about 800 pounds of Mulcoa 200 grog.
I'm starting to understand things but i've still got a few things to wrap my head around. The main thing i want to know right now, is how to attach the dome of the oven to the reinforced concrete foundation without any heat shorts...how to insulate the oven completely and still have it firmly attached to the trailer.
I'm about to do a search on that now, tomorrow i'll be off to the scrap yard to buy steel for the "table."
I've been thinking about mounting the oven on engine mounts to reduce vibration. are there any thoughts on using these rubber buffers for this?
thanks
