Although I've been looking at the forums and thinking about building an oven for a few years now, I've finally found the time to get started (and also bought our first house, so I can build it in my own backyard!)
I'm building in the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne, Australia, and the plans are to build a Rado Hand 3G MTo type oven (a vaut-shape) with a few modifications (completely hollow underneath to create storage space, moved the ash-dump, more insulation and added thermocouples, wifi data logger). I have no masonry or brick-laying experience, so I think it might be a steep learning curve!
