    Hi!

    Christian here from Los Angeles. Just moved into a place with a brick oven. I'm wondering if this base would be suitable for pizzas? It's fairly uneven, and I'm wondering if this oven was meant more for grilling, etc.

    If the surface is too uneven, could I put a pizza stone in there as the oven was heating up? Can pizza stones handle that kind of heat?

    Would love to know ways you think I could improve on this oven. There seems to be a lot of material coming off of the walls. Is this like.. temporary mortar / heat insulation?
