Stand Size

I have a question about hearth size. I have a stand in place that measures 60x 60 inches. I would like to place a 36 inch(or bigger) Pompeii style dome on it. The stand actually sits in the corner an existing brick knee wall surrounding my patio that I will add more courses to for the enclosure, and build a third and fourth wall for the enclosure on the opposing sides. Overall the stand dimensions would be roughly 71 inches wide by 71 inches deep (if I include outside to outside of the existing /new brick walls).I won't need much of a landing as there is ample prep area within a few feet. I want to add 3-4 inches of thermal mass (unless i don't have room) covering with 2 inches of FB blanket and filling the brick enclosure with vermiculite...... Any thoughts,comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
