Restoring brick grill

In the back corner of our yard we have a pretty ugly brick grill thats sitting already on a concrete pad. I was looking to make this nice, and figured since most of the basics are already there, some of you may have ideas of what I need to do to make this a functional wood or charcoal grill. I want it to be safe, and am not exactly sure what I may need to do to have this be a nice thing instead of something I want to tear down!
