I did some researches on the forum about the ash dump, there are a lot of different opinions and pro/cons.
I was trying to figure out a way to "use" a brick of the oven floor for different purposes:
What do you think about this idea? or , as I saw in this forum, better to replicate the same solution (at least for the smoker), but using a brick on the 1st/2nd course of the dome?

- during pizza/bread, just there as a normal brick
- removing the brick and use it as an ash dump
- removing the brick and, connected to a smoker on the side of the oven, to let the smoke flow into the dome and use it as a smoker
What do you think about this idea? or , as I saw in this forum, better to replicate the same solution (at least for the smoker), but using a brick on the 1st/2nd course of the dome?
