Just opened maybe a month ago, right across from where Campagna Southlake will be.
Welcome to the official Coal Vine's web site!
As the name suggests, CoalVines is a coal burning brick oven pizzeria. Smallish place, with inside seating around a bar area and outdoor patio seating. You can get a real good glimpse at the oven as the kitchen is open (glassed in from the bar) and you can walk right past the oven on your way back toward the restrooms.
Pizzas were large NY style (12" or 14" I think), with good crust flavor and snap, with browning/charring from the oven (just that perfect amount). We had the marinara, great flavor. Not quite Bianco's, but pretty good.
Salads were good, a caesar and a spinach salad.
Excellent wine list, also.
