Over the past couple of weekends, we have been to two excellent wood fired bakeries on Sonoma county.
Preston Winery has a Scott oven (8'x10') and makes great bread sold through the winery tasting room. They are up Dry Creek road and the bake three times a week.
Wildflower Bakery in Freestone, about 20 minutes from Healdsburg, also has a 8'x10' Scott oven and makes great hearth bread and sticky buns. They bake 6 times a week.
If you ever go wine tasting in Sonoma, or are thinking of visiting Forno Bravo, these are both worth a visit. They are also both great examples of the right environment for Scott oven.
