The flood water that is inundating much of northern Victoria is 50ks wide and travelling at only 1 to 2ks per day....
The next town to be hit by the flood water is still 90 ks away, imagine the waiting?

Then there will be all that water coming down the Murrumdidge river from the Queensland floods which will take months to arrive at the Murray river.

Yep and all the shack owners on the Murray from Mildura to the outlet at Goolwa have been told to expect 3 floods over the next 2 months.
I am a river loving water skier (well ex now but keen for 40 years) and would not like to have to prepare and clean up 3 times in as many months.

Because of the direction of rotation of a cyclone, if it hits the coast just south of us we will probably get hardly any really bad weather or heavy rain. But the system will dump most of it to the south. For northern hemisphere folk the direction of rotation is opposite, so I guess the reverse would apply. Also you call them hurricanes in the northern hemisphere.

Holey shit, Ive just seen the news and the second cyclone is the biggy and heading right for FNQ....

It like 100 times as big as the last one.
