  • New Year's Eve TOO HOT for the pizza oven

Hi all, planning a special pizza night around the pool with friends has just vanished as the forecast here 'Down Under' is 4 days of 39˚C and the actual midnight temperature on New Year's Eve is predicted 30˚C. I'll bet a state wide fire ban.
I feel for all you members freezing as we need to suffer the exact opposite.
So it is back to the drawing board and settle for a seafood smorgasbord (but not with our larger crayfish bringing Aus$90 / Kg).

Anyway, I wish you all a Happy and safe new year!

    Cheers.

Happy New Year to you too Neill, and to all of you out there - and may 2012 be the year I finally finish the base of my oven!!!

      Hi Sarah,
I understand that the weather in Canada is not as it is over here, but why would it take you a year just to complete your oven base?
Maybe I need to come over and build your dome in 2 days as I did mine!
      However, I wish you well.

PS. 41˚C yesterday, 39˚C today and expected the same for the next 2 days. Great weather for the pool, sharing it with the grand kids!
