Re: The journey has begun.
Good luck prospecting, you always hear about the Aussie who found the 100 kg nugget buried just below the surface. Maybe it is your turn. Hmmm, the foot print is strange.

Enjoy your holiday Al, that is interesting country that you are travelling in and no better place to see the magnificent tapestry of stars.
Not guilty, it's as I found them.

Worlds End.

Weird foot prints in the mud, I put one of mine for comparison.
There were no boot prints or tyre tracks in the area but mine.
There were no front paw prints either so I'm stumped as to what made them.Last edited by brickie in oz; 06-15-2013, 10:10 PM.

Morning Faith.
I am heading for lake Eyre then on to the north Flinders ranges.
After that off to Broken Hill to do some prospecting.
I'll post pics when I get the chance.

The journey has begun.
I started my two week trip at 5.30am today, I got as far as Burra in South Australia, I got here on dark and have booked two nights in a caravan park, very civilised I must say
Today's trip was about 1200 Klm's, I went the pretty way as I've been down all the other roads over the years.
Some of the towns I went through have interesting names, Speed, I nearly got cleaned up there, obviously they don't get much through traffic, Pinaroo and the best yet Worlds End.
My fave town was Berri, it's a fruit and wine district, I got a 12 bottle case of clean skins for $48, ya gotta love that.
