    This being possibly totally irrelevant I still thought it was cool. On Dirty Jobs Mike was cleaning a boiler on a yacht that was built in 1904 (the year my Dad was born). Anyway, the lining for the opening was made of brick - basically a brick tunnel forming the collar between the combustion chamber and the hatch.

    Well, I thought it was cool... ~shrug~

    I saw that episode about the time I began my build. Wondered what 'duty rating' they were and if they would be suitable for an oven build.
