The best Valentine's Day gift I ever received was from a good friend rather than a romantic interest.

I'd just been dumped on the 13th (yup). One of my best friends (who was also my dorm RA at the time) drew a card for me and left it with a hot chocolate and a few loaner chick flick DVDs. When I got home from class, it was waiting for me on my desk.
