  • Atlantis WFO?

    Hey everyone!

Been busy with life, so I haven't been keeping up very well lately.

But I usually stop by 3 or 4 times a week just to check what's going on.

Some really nice ovens have been built lately! Congrats to all the new WFO owners!

But I've been messing with aquariums lately and freshwater fish.
Started out with goldfish from the carnival... (kids won)

Then someone gave me a tank with a Blood Parrot, they couldn't care for it anymore.

Then something snapped.. off to the deep end for me.
    Fish can be really interesting!

Anyways... I came across this cool picture on the internet.
It's not mine, but when I saw it .. I was like whoa! Cool!

    I'm done rambling.

    Here's the pic!

    Re: Atlantis WFO?

I had an enormous fish tank until several years ago. I lost interest when the fish lost the will to live... they got some kind of ick and I just couldn't get rid of it.

Of course, the cat perched on the back of the tank, fishing, didn't help any, and neither did the kids sticking their arms in it to "make the fish move".

Good luck with the fishies. They can be quite lovely, and dressing up the tank is big fun. I can't help but wonder about the fuel needed to fire up that wfo???

            Hi Dave,

We have had the fish bug off and on over the years. We have been threatening to try a saltwater tank, but (fortunately??) we don't have anywhere to put one right now.

              My next thought exactly.

I bought a new 55 to move the goldfish into....

But then bought different fish instead.

Then found a used 125 gallon for really cheap.
And I bought it... (The guy also through in his 30 gallon, stand equipment everything for free! - My wife stole it.) The 125 needs some clean up and new silicon, and then I'm going to move the fish from the 55 gallon into the 125 gallon and the goldfish to the 55.....

Then I will have the Goldfish tank for a saltwater setup.

I'll post some pics when I get everything switched and up and running.

Can you tell.. I caught the bug!

How's life in the air lately?

Feast or famine. During and just after the ice storm I flew a few trips. It's been quiet the last couple of weeks (one of the perks of being an "on-call" crew member).

                  Ken,
Stay away from the NE. The flying's been lousy up there in the last several weeks. Some kind of Bermuda triangle effect I think.

I love aquariums too Dave. My fish all seem to find their way to the ultimate aquarium. Swirling waters in a white porcelain bowl. What a wonderful send-off to fish heaven! I made the last one a little kyak to ride out the rapids in. No luck for Mr. Beta. He was ejected when he hit the first white water. Once sucked into an undertow and the ultimate whirlpool, his fun was short-lived.

Hmmm..... What's this thread about anyway???
                  Sorry, please ignore this post!

Oh geez George... My sides are hurting and my monitor is splattered with coffee. Stop. Please stop!

Bermuda Triangle? I'm not scared of no stinkin' Bermuda Triangle. I've been through it dozens of times. As long as you give the black helicopters and aliens what they want, they pretty much leave you alone.
