Fire up oven it makes its own sunshine. Nothing beat winter like cooking in the snow...except possibly cooing at 72 degrees F.

I have a runner friend in Colorado who did 130 laps on an indoor track because there was too much snow to run outside -- even though it's starting to warm up. You don't want to know how nice it is at the coast. Sorry. :-(

I have heard that from some runners in our HOA meeting each year. "Plow the sidewalks so I can run". Can't those people shovel the sidewalks for exercise?

The Boston marathon was today -- the oldest and best (they say), and Big Sur marathon is Sunday -- the prettiest (they say). I'm still trying to decide whether to run fast, or enjoy the scenery, but I'm doing it. The shuttle leaves at 4AM. :-)
