Members of DC Elite Pizza, a club for wood-fired pizza enthusiasts in the Washington area, had a fantastic time at Mike Denny's on Sunday, May 31. Mike was an incredibly generous host and made sure the gathering was enjoyed by all. His FB Casa 90 hit and held absolutely astonishing temps all day and allowed us to create 26 superb pies.
Also attending the meeting were Mike McBride, Herb Kaufer, Dave Konstantin, Frank Conlon, and Jared Conlon. Look for Frank's mobile wood-fired pizza catering business, "Fired Up," in the very near future.
