Re: Adelaide, South Australia - Omega Foods
Yeah Adelaide has a wide range of immigrant groups settling in over the years and if you know where to "tap in" to their food - shops, restraunts etc. it can be very rewarding.
Neill....thanks for the tip....went past there this morning after we took the kids to the beach for a swim. Had lunch in the car on the way home cheese/great bread/salami. It inspired me to try some new things out in my oven. I got some falafel mix...might cook these as finger food when I do Greek meatballs.

Adelaide, South Australia - Omega Foods
For all those members from South Australia, who are looking for somewhere different (and cheap) to shop for those traditional Italian (or Greek) ingredients, may I suggest a trip to:
Omega Foods,
33 Adam Street
Hindmarsh
SA 5007
Ph. 8446 6499
(Entry from River Road).
Be prepared to spend a couple of hours sorting through the maze of goods at very reasonable prices. It is similar to Gaganis Brothers, a little smaller but a different range of products and brands.
