Bocce and Pizza anyone?
This was a project we designed and installed in Mercer Island, WA in 2009
The client started out with removing a play structure and cedar chips and wanted a bocce court in it's place.
We had to remove a garden area and paver path as well and this is what we ended up with.
We got involved with Forno Bravo while building the court because the client, Italian, wanted a pizza oven. We had limited space so the oven is perched on top and within the kitchen garden.
The layout and use of the space for the family is the perfect match. The owner, on his last birthday, wanted to feed the homeless camp that was in the area. He asked for some help and they turned out over 250 pies for the evening?s dinner. Now that is how you break an oven in.
