I'm planning on building a kamado grill here over the next few weeks for my step dad and have been using the posts on here as a guideline but figured am unsure of a few things and was hoping you guys could help me out. My plan is to use large flower pots as the molds... I will have a smaller(17.4") pot as the inner portion and a larger 20.3" as the outer portion of the mold. When looking at cement recipes It seems that all mixes must be made with a cookie dough like consistency which would be challenging to compact within the limited space that I have within the mold. Is there any cement mix ratio or technique that would solve this. I also would like to know whats the best cement mix recipe for this as I find several different ideas on what is better. Thanks
