  • Another blonde joke

A buxom blonde is speeding down the highway when she gets pulled over by the police.
The lady police officer, also a blonde comes over to the car and asks the blonde driver for her drivers license.
The driver, looks through the glove box, no luck, then starts looking through her purse, still no luck, starting to get frantic... she turns to the lady cop and asks, "whats it look like?".
To this the blonde lady cop says, "It's square, and has your picture on it"
Ah, "ok" says the driver and right away comes out with her pocket mirror, "Here it is!" and hands it to the lady cop, who takes one look at it and says "oh, thats ok, you can go, I didn't realize you were a cop!!"

      Re: Another blonde joke

      Hi there,

It's nice to know I have been missed. ;-)

I did make another post a few months back. It was about my embarrassment and not having completed my ovens enclosure yet. It would seem I am not alone there.

The real problem is that I finished the oven about one year ago, I guess it was a year and two months ago. During that time when I was laying the last few bricks a job offer in Macau was starting to firm up that I never actually thought would come through. As it turned out the offer was too good to turn down for me at least. However my wife and son couldn't move down so easily so from then on I have been doing a weekly commute. It's a three hour flight from Macao to Beijing that I do every Friday evening and then again Sunday evening to go back. This gives me enough time to make a pizza on weekends but it doesn't give me enough time to finish my enclosure. And this bothers me.

However now the new problem arises that we didn't anticipate, we had expected to be staying in this rental unit through the end of 2017 at least. But now it looks like it will be only until this coming April and my poor oven will likely be torn down
It's been pretty good. We've made some spectacular pizzas, calzones, muffins and the few other things in it so it's gotten A fair bit of use there's hardly a weekend that goes by and doesn't see it fired up. I am pretty happy with it though it's not very pretty

If it is torn down it's not the end of the world, I quite enjoyed the build process and I've already started planning the next one for the new place and how I will do it differently, the adventure continues...

I am not sure the ovens are really ever done. Here I am going on over three years and still not done. Well, moving and losing the oven, what a shame. But the next oven will go up faster and be better...........best of luck.

Wow you too? Bummer. But in a way it's good so long as you enjoy the build! For me the worst part, and it's almost unbearable just the thought of it, is the lack of pizza during the process!
