  • Hearwarming and uplifting!

Here's a heartwarming story about the bond formed between a little girl
and some construction workers. This will make you believe that we can
make a difference when we give a child the gift of our time.

A young family moved into a house next door to a vacant lot. One day, a
construction crew came in and began building a house on the empty lot.
The family's 5-year-old daughter became interested in all the activity
going on next door and spent much of each day observing the workers.

Eventually, the construction crew, all of them gems-in-the-rough, more
or less adopted her as a project mascot. They chatted with her, let her
sit with them while they took coffee and lunch breaks, and gave her
little jobs to do here and there to make her feel important. At the end
of the first week, the men presented her with a pay envelope which
contained $2.00. The little girl took this home to her mother, who said
all the appropriate words of admiration, and suggested that they take
the money she received to the bank to start a savings account. When they
talked to the bank teller, she was equally impressed and asked the
little girl how she had earned her very own pay check at such a young
age. The child proudly replied, "I worked last week with the crew
building the house next door to us." My goodness gracious, "said the
teller, "and will you be working on the house again this week too?"

The little girl replied, "I will if those A-holes at Home Depot ever
    deliver the f*^%n' sheet rock."

Kind'a brings a tear to the eye...doesn't it?
"Pizza, the world's most perfect food."

Brings to mind one I heard a long time ago
Mother has twin sons and they are at the age that they are just driving her crazy, bad language, bad behavior, you name it. A wits end she takes them to a child psychologist and in the meeting she had with the doctor following the appointment she asked about the treatment. The doctor says, "Maam, I have no other advice for you than the very next time one or both of the boys does something inappropriate just take whatever is in you hand and beat the crap out of him!" "Really!" the mother says. "Really!" So the next morning Mom is in the kitchen when the boys come trouncing down the stairs and she asks, "What would you like for breakfast?" The first boy answers, "I want some GD oatmeal!" She takes the cast iron pan in her hand and beats that child senseless. Then she says to the other, "What would you like for breakfast?" To which he says, "I don't know, but I sure as hell don't want no GD oatmeal!"

            Funny !!!!

True Story ( as told by my mother)

When I first learned that bad words exsisted I was compelled to try them out. When my mother served my breakfast I looked at it and said..

What the F^&(*&^ is this ?

As I was being bodily dragged to the bathroom I yelled

What the H$%^ are you doing ?

And finally, having recieved a well deserved bar of soap in the mouth I proclaimed

            This tastes like S^&*

To this day I do not use "bad" langauge and have learned to dislike the taste of soap
