    Well, It looked like they used it. My guess from the cabinets and the cooktop, it was from the late '60's mania for hibachis. Or do you think this was a kitchen fireplace with the hibachi thrown in later?

      Not sure if it was added later or not, but it struck me as odd and humorous or is that humerus? It did hit the funny bone.
