  • Gaudi's Barcelona

Barcelona is my favorite city to visit for a lot of reasons.

Gaudi was a very controversial architect who was based in Barcelona.

He has built a number of interesting dwellings like Casa Mila and Casa Batillo, the mosaic masterpiece of Parc Guell and an unfinished Cathedral, the Sagrada Familia.

Look under his picture for links to those 4 structures.

If you can make it to Barcelons, enjoy the Gothic Quarter, the Market and the famous Las Ramblas walkway...all located in the old town.

Yep, that stuff is just so Cool!

Apparently he had a lot of the tiles made specially for the installations (probably like the bobbly ones on top of that thing in the last picture). I know I'd love to get my hands on tiles like that!
