The slab is poured (the sweat, I tell you, too!)

Hi guys,

today marks a first milestone for Il Forno del Gallo chi Canta: we poured the slab! Bianca came to the party once I'd done a third saying she took pity on me... Then it was filled buckets with sand, gravel and water whenever I needed them - and homemade beer, homebaked bread with salami, too! I breezed through the seven-hour job without really noticing... :-)

First time I have ever seen a mixer hooked up to a tractor PTO!

It's a Teagle TipMix 50 from the U.K. - I bought it in the 'Seventies as an attachment for my faithful Leyland 154 tractor... both have been performing well over the years, the mixer mainly for small jobs around the place, the tractor as the power plant for a scoop, single-tine ripper, disc plough (briefly) and last but not least for an Italian PTO-driven water pump!
