    Nice tight joints Chris.
Are you cutting mitre & bevel angles on each brick.
It's difficult to tell w/ the first few chains, since the angle & bevel are so shallow.
    Nice work.

Coming along nicely. Just an observation, keep an eye out vertical joints lining up from one course to another.

    Chris,
You had asked me about my roof pitch.
I confirmed it's 8.5/12, in case you still need this.

    Hodgey1,
I agree, if you look at my build pics, that's why I choose to hide the small bricks in that area.
I knew you wouldn't ever see them.

    Hod,

You don't need a whole brick but the smaller chips are more prone to cracking or working loose. The tie-in on right side could of been one piece instead of two. The one of the left looks fine. However, if you are going to make adjustments to bricks, the front 1/3 of the dome is the place to do it. No one ever sees the adjustments there after you start firing the oven so do you best work on the back 2/3s of the dome.

UtahBeehiver correct me if I'm wrong...

Hodgey1, I believe that's what UtahBeehiver is saying.

Ideally you have full width bricks to start at each inner arch base, then work back from there. This will minimize the amount of small chips & mortar work that you will have to do where the dome meets the inner arch base.If necessary you can cut 1 brick to fit the last gap to ensure a tight fit to complete the soldier chain.

When you say "chip" are you referring to the narrow cut bricks at the inner arch? If so, are you suggesting I start the solider course by cutting both the right and left sides of arch bricks first and make sure they're a full width brick?
    I have attached a photo.

    Hod,

Lookin good, try and avoid small brick chips if you can, right hand side of first course by arch.

    Hod,

You can save a few bricks by using the cut off on other parts of the floor on the smaller pieces elsewhere on the floor. IE the 5 front bricks could be cut from other parts of the floor saving you 5 whole bricks.

    Looking good.
Nice time to chambfer the top edges of your floor bricks, if you're going to do that (makes for easy sliding of the pizza peel).
I used a dremel w/ an angled grinding stone, which worked pretty well.
