  • Vote for the Winter Photo Contest Winner 2014

Voting is now open for our winter photo contest 2014. Please help us choose the winner from the six finalists listed here.

We received so many super (and snow-covered!) entries ? narrowing it down to six was very (very) difficult. See all entries here: Pizza Oven Photographs | Contest Entries - February 2014

Many thanks to all who entered ? there are some really great ovens out there. And thank you in advance for taking the time to vote.

The winner earns a Forno Bravo "Got Wood?" T-shirt and the pride of winning this prestigious competition.

Voting closes 4/15/14. We'll announce the winner here, on social media and in the next Wood-Fired Newsletter.

Only 2 are burning, I think that should limit the field.

You should see a poll at the top of the message, with the six finalists listed. Is it showing up for you?

I just want to comment to on anyone taking a winter photograph of their WFO.....have a fire burning in it for goodness sake!!!

It makes an uplifting statement when I see a raging fire burning inside with 12 inches of snow sitting on top of the roof. On the other hand, it is also downright depressing when I see a beautiful oven that has been overcome by snow and can't be used.

              Just a thought.

Are we to vote for who has the most snow, the prettiest snow or for an oven which is covered in said snow?

When I saw the entries, I thought "wow, I don't remember entering but there's my yard." Turns out that someone in Grand Rapids, Michigan has my yard's identical twin! Whoever you are, I pity you your horrid winter and hope you're making pizza again very soon! Oh and YES - you got my vote!

Thanks for the vote. It was a long winter with too much snow (and too cold) to get to the oven with over 27" on the ground at one point (115" for the season). I finally moved enough snow this weekend to fire the oven back up and make some pizzas on Saturday. It felt so good to be out there again.
