  • Start to Finish WFO and Grill

I'm going to try to post my start to finish photos on this thread for those interested. I broke ground August 3rd and just finished. I did it all with my wife, except the counter tops. Counter tops are granite and priced includes installation, thank goodness! I'll start with they layout and building the base. One thing not shown, was that our whole back patio was poured. When we bought the house it had sunk away from the house so we had it redone. The corner that the oven sits on we had the company reenforce that square with 6 inches of rock and 6 inches concrete, renforeced rebar dowelled into the main structure of the patio which is dowelled into the house with rebar. All that to say, it's not going anywhere!

Blanket was easy, cutting the lathe to fit was NOT, but I managed.

Are those standard 2x4s sitting on the ground for your counter, or pressure treated? You don't want to have a problem with rot.
