  • Colorado pompeii oven

I finally got a computer lesson and was able to show some pictures of my oven. 42" pompeii oven. Also decided to add a spot for my bbq grill and an indirect heat smoker. In curing process of the pizza oven now. I am just a dumb bricklayer, not very computer savvy

under the pizza oven currently i just use for storage(oven tools, things for the smoker and such). The other end lower stone is covering a fire box for the smoker. I have a flu liner going into the taller chamber which holds my racks for a water pan and where i put my meat for smoking. I have lit a few fires in firebox but havent quite smoked any meat yet. I have been mostly concentrating on curing the pizza oven. The wife and kids are on me every day about when are we having a pizza party.. Its been alot of fun. Can't wait to finally get cooking

i had a welder make my doors out of 1/4" and 5/16" steel and the frames were just made out of angle iron that he welded together. I made the door myself on the bottom of pizza oven.Just a piece of plywood on hinges attached to brick with tapcons. I put a thin piece of steel on outside of plywood. It was about $350 for the doors, but i had to paint them and anchor to brick.. Checked a couple prices and felt he gave me a pretty good deal. I am hoping to try my first pizza next weekend

Nice i have bought a welder ready to make the bits for the grill, tempted to make some doors too....even though I have never welded before.

As you are getting a bit nerdy with the pc, it might be worth adding a signature with the links to your build.
Here is a link just in case you need it
