Cool! Did you use vermiculite? And where is the picture?!

Here's one more with some firebricks, for the record before it gets cover.

            Hi,Frances!
Please bear with me as this business of uploading is new to me.
As you can see, I did use vermiculite and perlite in a separate layer.
Also I did include an ash slot .
            Thanks for checking our progress!

You're doing very well... I only made that remark, because some builders think that once you've seen one oven stand you've seen them all and so don't bother to post pics of the "boring" bits.

This of course isn't true at all - any progress you make, you'll find lots of people here who want to see the pictures!

                Konnichi wa, Morishita-San,

Nice progress on the base. Glad you got the picture posting process worked out.

I like the glass block on the base. I have a feeling we are going to see more bases on the site with glass block.

How is your insulation working out? Is it crumbly or pretty tough?

                    Hello,Christo san!
Thanks, for your words of encouragement!
Well, I can say that our vermiculite/perlite insulation is not as crumbly
as it may look,it actually turned out quite tough,i believe it will do the job.
