thanks Joe and Tom. This site is amazing in providing information and inspiration. I don't want to discourage anyone, but show some other stone house style ovens. I didn't find many examples when I started. Fortunantly for me, masons are resonably priced here in Texas so I did get help after I built the oven. This was way to much stone work for me, and beyond my expertise as well. But, that shouldn't stop your design.

Looking at your beautiful oven makes me want to cry. I wish mine looked 1/3 as good as yours does. Well done. I guess they all make pizzas more or less equally well. That's the only consolation I can take away after seeing your masterpiece.
