I'm new to posting here and hope to show you all my oven build progress, but first I need to learn to post photos. If I'm successful, I'll start a new thread.
Well, that wasn't so hard. It's not the same format as most here, but I kinda like the bigger photos anyway.
I'll be starting a thread soon under Pompeii oven construction entitled Evs' Oven Build.
Evets,
you can also have them as attached thumbnails which are enlarged to the final size that you have attached to your posting by simply attaching them without re-selecting the paperclip (attach files tag) which places the pics within your post and enlarged.
But keep them coming!
Cheers,
Neill

Nice looking stand. I see you put a column in the center, did I miss that in the plans or is that a modification to the standard plans? Also d you have a closeup of the over hang form you built I would like to add that in mine as ell but am unsure how to do it.
Thanks

I posted more pics under Pompeii oven construction. I don't think the center support was in the plans but I've seen it used somewhere before. I figured it couldn't hurt, so I put it in. Now I'll never worry about whether I needed it or not.
I included the closest shots I have of the overhang. I hope it helps.
I must say that I found the plans a bit frustrating at times. It seems every photo used as an example is of a different oven, and some of the dimensions given are inconsistent. Overall though, the plans give a pretty good idea of what it should end up like.
