            How to chop wood without messing around. [VIDEO] is the link. Nice axe. Nice wood. Nice muscles.

            Holding the log together with a bungee cord is actually a pretty good idea.

              It would only work with girly man wood, it wouldnt work with Oz timbers where it takes 4 swipes just to split 1 little splinter off.

                Neat idea but no use with the bulk of the Aussie wood - it's way too hard.

                  My wood has knots and grain that's not that straight. Then you always have that "Y" piece. So much fun to split.

                      I th ink I need a Bobcat to get that attachment for! Man oh man. Too bad it would not work for the Southwestern hardwoods I have.

                          And Boy had me convinced it was all about the $200 Swedish ax. Turns out all he needed was a piece of chain and a bungee? I've been swindled.

                          Too bad MN wood (aka "trees that fall on newly built sheds") isn't quite so round, flat, and limbless.
