  • Getting a malicous re-direct

Sometimes when I attempt to join (via bookmark) I get redirected to some spam/malicious software site. It has happened on 4 different computers in four different places, so it obviously can't be on my system. It has been doing this for about 2 weeks, just tolet you know.

    Re: Getting a malicous re-direct

I get the same thing when I try to come to the site from a search engine. I get sent to a site called "filestore123.info" some of the time.

Apparently it is a know security breach with the vBulletin software that they are using to host the forums, and there is a patch for it that I suspect has not been applied

I tried sending feedback on this to the admin but got no response

I just had the same thing happen to me when i tried to enter the site from a search engine. Took me to the same site deejayoh mentioned "filestore123.info" . I had to use Task Manager to shut it down and run a virus scan.

Clearing your cache should probably do the trick. Client side antivirus wouldn't really help, as the problem was malware on the server.
